    Please clarify your question.

    • Do I understand that neither the Federal nor State received your 2023 tax returns
    • Did you tile your tax returns in March?
    • Did you file them on extension?
    • Did you complete the process to file them?

Please contact us again to provide some additional details. or with any additional questions.

Hi, and thank you for your response. I did not file in March. I filled out the tax forms at that time, but I’m a bit unclear on the details after that. I selected to file an extension, but I wasn’t directed to any other page to complete the process. I simply exited after answering ‘yes’ to filing the extension, thinking I had finished. Now, I realize I may have missed some steps. I want to proceed with filing, but since the returns are no longer available, I’m wondering if I need to start the process over. Any guidance would be appreciated!

Make sure you are logged in using the same credentials as you used to prepare your return last year.  You can use this link to verify any accounts you may have under your information.

Once you determine you are in the correct account, you can use this link to see what documents are loaded for 2023.  Any tax returns filed would be listed.

If you determine your 2023 tax return was not filed, you will not be able to prepare those online.  You will need to download TurboTax Desktop for 2023 using this link.  You will then be able to complete and file your 2023 tax return
