I completed an erroneous return yesterday. I did not print or mail it. Today I amended my return successfully and would like to e-file it.

You did an Amended return?  That is wrong.  You only amend a return that has been filed and accepted.  You just go in and fix it and print or efile it again.  You need to undo the amended return.  Then to get back into your return you Click on Add a State.
