If you are an employee then the EIN will be on the W-2 that will be issued next month ... do NOT try to file the return with the last pay stub.  The IRS will not start processing returns until the end of January so rushing to file  is not only not wise but it is also illegal.  The IRS will not process your return until they get the W-2 info from your employer so if you file too early this can delay processing of the return.    If you do file with incorrect information that can delay your return by months and then you would have to amend the return and those also take months to process.  So in the end you will only hurt yourself.
