I deleted my 2020 TaxTurbo file and need to amend my 2020 return

Prepared, and submitted electronically submitted my turbotax 2020 return, and finally received my refund. However, I identified some errors, but can not find the turbotax file.

Did you use the Online browser version or the Desktop installed program? If you used the Desktop program you need to have the .tax2020 on your computer (or have a backup saved) and the 2020 program installed. If you deleted the .taxfile check your recycle bin or trash. And check on One Drive and any other drives or backup services you use.

To amend a return

Some quick ground rules:

Be sure the original return was filed and accepted.
DO NOT go back into the return or change anything before you start the amendment process.
Gather everything you need before you start.
Complete the entire amendment process before you log out.
Starting with 2020 tax returns you can E-File a 1040-X amended tax return. All prior years must be printed and mailed.

You can correct a return that you've already filed and had accepted. Select the year that applies and use this guide to proceed.
