I did not add my husbands school tax that was taken out do i need to amend all my taxes or can i just file school tax seperate again?

You can file school taxes separately.

As for amending federal and state:

  • If you itemized on your federal return and did not hit the $10,000 cap for state and local taxes, you may want to amend your federal and state returns.
  • If you do not meet the above (either took the standard deduction or hit the cap), then there is no need to amend federal and state. Only the school tax needs to be corrected.

About 90% of people fall in the second category but double check if you aren't sure. If your federal has a sch A for itemizing, look at what was allowed for state and local taxes.
