I mailed in my return last Friday and today I read I must answer the question about virtual currency. I checked my copy and I did not answer the question. IRS just said you must. What should I do now? And I would have answered no.

There is nothing that you can do now if you mailed your return. You will have to wait to see if the IRS sends you a letter. Then just answer the question and send back your response. Otherwise, I would not be concerned about it.
