I already filed for 2017 but I need to fix the return for her scholarship.

If you owe additional tax based on what's on the Form 1098-T, you'll owe some additional penalty and interest.  You shouldn't be in any "trouble" of any kind, you'll just owe that additional amount.

Please see the TurboTax FAQ "How do I amend a 2017 return in TurboTax?" for additional information.

Please bear in mind that an amended return must be printed, signed and mailed to the IRS.  It cannot be eFiled.
