Question

I did not intend to finalize my return or file it just yet. I have filed an extension, and paid the TurboTax fee. How can I modify the return without using an amendment?

If you have not filed it you should be able to get in and make any additions or corrections. You might need to click Add a State so that you can get back in. You do not really have to add a state but that will allow you to go back to the return to enter/change the data. Do not click on anything that says amend.
