Question

I did not live in the USA effective 8/21. It is asking me my state of residence on 12/31/21

i live in FL from 1/1/21 - 2/3/21 and then lived in NC from 2/4/21 to 8/23/21...I am not sure what my selection would be for "tell us the states you lived in" state of residence on Dec 31, 2021 as I was already living in Canada

You would answer North Carolina, since that was your primary state that you lived in during 2021.
