Question

I did not recieve my 2018 refund even though status is execpted. When I use the "where's my refund" tool on irs website it says error everytime. How do I get my refund?

The IRS where's my refund site only shows information about 2019 refunds. If you filed a late 2018 return then it had to be mailed if you filed it after October of 2019, so all you can do is wait patiently for them to process it. It will not appear on the IRS site.

When did you file your 2018 return? When you say it was "accepted" --- did you use last year's 2019 online software and enter 2018 income? If so----your problem is that the return was incorrect and on the wrong form.
