I didn't get all my tax returns I didn't even get half of it so what does that mean

The federal and state returns are sent from different taxing authorities at different times ... did you only get the one refund ?

If the refund sent by the IRS or state is less than expected then the IRS or state will send a letter of explanation in the next couple of weeks.

Or did you have the TT fees withheld from the federal refund and that is the amount that is missing ?

Or did you get an advance earlier and that is the amount that is missing ?
