I didn’t get correct amount for my 3rd stimulus check.

Hello

i filed taxes on 5th march and also claimed for recovery rebate for my new born in 2020. After submitting my file to irs the government later approved for 3rd stimulus check. I was thinking irs would update my info and will also include my newborn when sending the 3rd stimulus but that did not happen. Now they are sending me refund that was shown in the turbo tax and also sent me stimulus excluding my newborn.
should i file for amendment to get missing stimulus payment?

Hang tight. At this time, we are waiting for the IRS to provide us additional information on how Americans will receive the missing or wrong amount third stimulus checks.

Note: None of the three stimulus checks (or Recovery Rebate Credits) are considered income, and therefore aren’t taxable. They won’t reduce your refund or increase what you owe when you file your taxes this year, or next. They also won’t affect your eligibility for any federal government assistance or benefits.
