For Federal only the IRS would know why your are receiving a lower amount for you refund. You should receive a letter explaining the difference in your refund amount.
Why is my direct-deposited refund or check lower than the amount in TurboTax?
If your State refund was lower, you can check your State's website for information about your refund & they also will send you a letter explaining the difference in the refund amount.
