I didn't receive the full amount of the covid payments. It shows I will receive them now but is that included in what my federal refund is?

I am owed for one child on both payments. I filed and requested them. And received a letter saying I was owed. But is the amount it shows I'm receiving from federal refund including the missed payments or are those separate?

The amount of your refund, as shown on line 35 of your federal tax return form 1040, will include the stimulus payments you are entitled to after subtracting what you have already received. This will show as a Recovery Rebate Credit on line 30 of your form 1040.
