I didn't report my stimulus money I received last year.

can you restate your issue and question?

 

if you did not report the stimulus money, which means there is a number now listed on Line 30 that should not be there. do not do anything, the IRS will catch that and adjust the return without the need to amend. 

 

is there a 2nd issue with your return? what does 'report income' mean - or is that the stimulus you are refering to?

Yes. It was the stimulus payment I was referring to.

    If you have an incorrect amount on the 1040 line 30 the IRS will correct this for you automatically.  There is nothing you need to do.
