Please verify what product you are using.   You mentioned the word "desktop."  Are you using TurboTax desktop software (CD/download) installed on your computer?   If so, Windows or Mac?

Or are you using Online TurboTax?  Under your question it's showing "Free Edition Online".   Is that correct or incorrect?   If you have desktop software, hopefully you're not working in Online TurboTax instead of your desktop software.   Online TurboTax does not have Forms Mode.
