I E-filed my 2023 federal taxes. IRS has NO record of receiving my filing? I received IRS confirmation of acceptance via Turbo Tax. Confirm my federal filing status.

I authorized my Federal tax payment to be electronically withdrawal from my bank, which as of (5-15-2024) has NOT been processed. I need to confirm that the E-file was accepted at the IRS. where is this found within Turbo Tax?

When did you file? Better double check your bank info with the bank. Maybe the IRS tried to take it out of you bank but couldn't. Check with the IRS and bank. Watch your mail for a bill from the IRS.

How to check your efile status

When you efile you get back 2 emails. The first email only confirms the transmission. The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your efile. And check your spam folder for them.

When you log into your account you should also see the status and if it was Accepted or Rejected, Started, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc. What does it say?

If you efiled, In the PDF of your TurboTax return, the last page of the federal return should be an "electronic postmark" that shows your name, Social Security number, the date and time that you e-filed the return, and the date that the IRS accepted it.
