I e-filed my taxes yesterday, but I forgot to add one of my 1099-R forms, and now Turbo Tax is not letting me amend the return, how can I amend the return?

The amend option is not yet available in TurboTax, you need to check back on another day. Also, you need to wait until your return is processed by the IRS before you can amend your return, so if you have a refund make sure you receive it before you submit an amended return.

You have to wait. The Amended 1040X return won’t be ready until late February. And you should not amend until the first return is done processing and you get the first refund (or pay the tax due).
