I efiled and return accepted on 1/28. I completed Idverify on 3/20. WMR still shows “return is being processed”. I have received no further response from IRS. Anyone else in this situatio

Many more taxpayers than seems to be usual are in this situation this year as the IRS is unable to process returns that require any manual handling at this time. I would guess that your return is in this category of returns based on the amount of time that your return has remained in processing.

Once the IRS resumes normal operations, they will be able to finalize your return and release your refund. We do not know at this time when this may be.
