I entered my wrong routing number. I entered the wire routing so i will not recieve my payment. My bank also has not rejected the payment allowing me too update the correct information. What do i do?

If this is for your anticipated federal tax refund the bank will first need to reject the payment and then the IRS will mail you a paper check. You won't be able to update information for a tax refund once it has been accepted.

If you continue to not have progress with your refund and it goes over two weeks please see this information from the IRS as you may need to initiate a trace: https://www.irs.gov/faqs/irs-procedures/refund-inquiries/refund-inquiries-18. This will allow the IRS to contact your bank. This process could take an extended time as the IRS are not currently processing these requests.
