I entered the wrong telephone number how do I change?

Please see the answer by  DanaB27 on how to change your phone number.

 

Note: If you e-filed your return and it's been accepted by the IRS, you won't be able to change the phone number on the tax return so it's corrected on the copy the IRS has.   

 

You also won't be able to change your phone number if it's in "pending" status.
