Question

I filed an amended return that affected only my State filing, do I need to submit the 1040-X on Federal?

I entered my banking information to draft our payment on original filing. I was not asked for that information when filing Amendment
Can I assume it is still set to draft on specified date?

If you filed a state amended return that only affected your state return, you do not need file a Form 1040-X Federal Amended Return.
