Question

I filed at the end of February and I still haven’t gotten my Colorado state tax return. Now it’s almost the middle of April.

Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities,  There is no rule as to which one will come first or how much time there will be between their arrivals.  Some states process returns quickly and some are very slow.

Yes, many taxpayers in Colorado are still waiting for their state tax refunds. To check on the status of yours, follow this link.

Colorado didn't start processing refunds until February 12 this year, and they stated at the beginning that they may take up to 12 weeks to issue a refund.

Yes, even for electronic filing @Hippiebarbie89 As Julie S mentioned, CO had a delayed processing start date that will impact the dates that you would normally receive a refund.
