Question

I filed electronially but had to fax them forms. How will those faxed forms effect my return processing with the COVID19 IRS office closures?

I filed my taxes electronically, but I had to fax the IRS a 8962/1095a form. I understand they are not processing paper taxes, but will they finish processing my tax return since it was filed electronically despite my having to fax them those additional forms? Or does the faxed forms now count as a paper return which wont be processed until their offices re-open? I faxed them those forms exactly 5 weeks ago today. The refund tracker still says that my refund is being processed. Can anyone give me some insight on what I can expect? Thanks.

At the moment we only have the information the IRS has posted on their website. If there are updates, we will post it in the community. The best thing to do is to stay updated.
