I filed my 2015 taxes with turbotax on my girlfriends laptop out of town. Do I have to go back to retrieve the data?

I hadn't planned on filing my taxes on someone elses' computer last year, but my trip lasted longer than planned. I bought a 2015 turbotax cd and filed on my girlfriends laptop. Do I have to take a trip back to her house to file on her computer again?

Yes your tax return from last year will be on her computer. No you don't have to use the same computer to file this year, you can use any computer. If you need that file you could have her email it to you, or you can get a copy of your transcript for free from the IRS by going to http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript. If you are just needing your AGI from last year you can call the IRS at 1-800-829-0582 ext 652 and get it over the phone.
