I filed my 2021 (last year's) tax return using Turbo Tax Premier on my desktop. My returns never got pulled into my 2022 returns. How can I amend this?

I have submitted my current year's returns. But there were forms that needed updating from prior years on my 2021 returns, which were never ported into Turbo Tax because I used the desktop version Turbo Tax Premier.

You are posting from online Self-Employed---not from the CD/download. When you start the new 2022 return, you have to perform the transfer of 2021 in to 2022 at the very beginning before you start entering any new 2022 data. If you did not do that, then you can clear and start over if you are using online. If you are using the CD/download then just start a new return and make sure you do that transfer before you put in any 2022 information.

The original numbers on an amended return must match what was originally filed.

If you are using TurboTax Online, you cannot transfer any data from your prior year CD/Download file once you start your return.

You can amend online, but you’ll have to type in any updates.

You can use 2022 TurboTax CD/Download to start a new return. TurboTax will transfer your 2021 info.

Then you’ll have to re-enter all your 2022 info. Finally, you’ll have to use Forms mode to change all the numbers in the Original column to match what you filed.

Did you ask how to transfer it? We could have told you. But now it's too late to transfer or import 2021 info. If you need to amend you'll have to enter the changes manually.
