I filed my federal but it is wrong . It shows a debit when I should be receiving a credit

Please explain that. Do you mean you expected to receive a tax refund but your tax return shows that you owe? And you filed it already? When you suspect that something is wrong with your tax return, it is a lot easier to deal with the possible errors BEFORE you file the return instead of going ahead and filing it thinking that it is wrong.

Print out your tax return and review it. Does it show a refund on line 20 of your Form 1040, or does it show tax due on line 23?
