Question

I filed my return on 2/2/21 and it shows on my account it was filed and accepted. When I check my account on the IRS site, it says no information available.

On the IRS site, it also says a payment was made last year and needs to be added to my return.

this is not good. by filed and accepted I assume you're referring to Turbotax and not the IRS. the IRS didn't actually open e-filing until 2/11 but since you got an acceptance email it should have your return and at the very least the site should show your return is still processing.

you'll have to call to find out if they actually got it.

Thanks Mike. I tried calling last week at 7:30 AM to get through, but due to high call volume was not even allowed to be put on hold. I tried calling again today at 7:00 AM as soon as the IRS lines opened, but now it says my call can't be completed at this time and to try the call again later. Still get the message with no information on the IRS site when I type in my social, how I filed, and amount of refund. I filed on 2/2/21.

On Turbo tax, it still says Federal return accepted with an acceptance date of 2/14/21.
