Question

I filed my return on the 12th and it still says pending why hasn't it been accepted

    Usually it takes the IRS 24-48 hours to accept a tax return, but can sometimes take longer in peak season.

    You can check your filing status by following these instructions:  TurboTax Tools: Where's my Refund?

     

    You can also use the IRS tool Where's My Refund to check if your e-filed return has been received.
