Question

I filed my taxes and paid what TurboTax calculated. The IRS sent a notice with "Tax you owed when you filed your return" that is $133 higher than line 24 on my 1040. Why?

The Notice Name on the form is CP14. There is no explanation for why in the notice. It says "Our records show you filed your 2022 Form 1040 with an amount owed." In TurboTax I cannot find the amount the IRS says I owe anywhere. Where in TurboTax is this coming from because it isn't on my 1040.

Your federal tax due is shown on line 37 of your Form 1040.
