Question

I filed my taxes before the new law went into affect about unemployment not getting taxed. Do I need to amend mine or just wait. I keep hearing different things

There is no need to amend your tax return for the unemployment compensation exclusion.

The IRS has started issuing tax refunds for the exclusion for those that are eligible and will continue doing so throughout the summer.
