I sold some land in 2018 but forgot to put it in my taxes, how do I do that now?

Yes, you will need to enter the sale of land on your return.

You will need to Amend the return to do this.

Once the return has been filed it cannot be stopped (unless you get extremely lucky and IRS would reject it for some reason).

So you have to wait for the return to be processed and you get your refund.

Then approx mid-February you can sign back into TurboTax and do the Amended return.
