Question

I filed my taxes.. But I am not sure if the funds I received from unemployment and covid $600 a week was included. How do I find out what do I need to do in order to rectify the situation if need.

You can amend your taxes. Since it is so early in the tax season, that option will not be available for some time. The IRS prefers that you wait until you have all your income statements available and file one time. It makes it difficult for them, and you as well, when bits of information are sent in piecemeal.

First, make sure you really need to amend and that your 2020 return was accepted in TurboTax Online or paper-filed through the mail. You can't amend a return that hasn't been filed yet.
