Question

I filed my taxes February 11 and they were accepted February 14. I received my state refund but my federal says it’s still processing. There has been no update for weeks

I have not received any correspondence from the IRS or been able to contact anyone.

Millions of returns are stuck in processing this year due to the late tax law changes so if your return has an amount on line 30 of the form 1040 OR unemployment OR the repayment of the Premium tax credit on line 2 of the Sch 2 OR a few dozen other things then all you really can do is wait ... the IRS posted that it could be until sometime in May for some returns that are being delayed to be released.
