Question

I filed my taxes in the beginning of January, I still have not received my tax return does anybody know when tax returns will be released?

The IRS has been paying refunds (I assume that this is what you mean) for months now.

 

However, there are a variety of reasons that your refund may have been held up.

 

Check your refund status at this IRS webpage.

 

Note that there are a variety of reasons why your refund may not make it to you; in most cases, you should receive a letter from the IRS or the Treasury Department explaining the delay.
