I am living fully on my own. I do not go to school and I am 20 years old. I filed my taxes as a dependent  because I thought my parents could  still claim me, however they no longer do. How do i fix this?

If you have already filed your return and the IRS accepts it, you will need to file an Amended return.  The IRS will not start accepting returns (except for small number on a test basis) until January 28.  So, there is a chance your return could be rejected by the IRS for some reason; if so, you can correct you filing status and resubmit.

The Amend feature in Turbo Tax will not be available until some time in February.
