Question

I filed on January 21 and it’s accepted the 22nd so how come my transcript still says no return filed?

    Have you already received your refund or paid the tax due with your return?  If so then the return has been processed and the IRS has simply not updated your transcript yet.

     

    If you have not received your refund or had your taxes paid yet then there might be an issue.  Use this tool to track your refund and see where it's at.  

     

    If you don't find a return status or if you owed this year then you should log in to your TurboTax account and make sure that the return was actually submitted.  If that doesn't help contact TurboTax support here.
