I filed on the 19th and the irs excepted within 2 hours. several others have said there refunds have been approved and even already deposted. my question is how long does it usually take after the irs

accept to approve? when u go to irs website to track it says it can't find any info on our return and to wait 24 hours after it was accepted. Well it's been over 2 weeks since it's been accepted so u

The IRS releases most refunds within 21 days of the date that the IRS accepts the return. The exception would be if you claimed either the earned income tax or the child tax credit, in which case your refund would not be released until the week of 2/27 at the earliest. Also, if you claim one of those credits, you most likely won't see anything on the IRS tracker until around February 17th. See below for information on how to track your refund.
