I filed through Turbo Tax but still put that someone can claim me as a dependent. Are my parents in trouble ?

No, nobody's in trouble. Dependents can file returns (and in some cases, must). As long as you did not claim your own personal exemption, then your parents can claim you. By telling TurboTax that you could be claimed on someone else's return, you did it correctly.
