Solved

I filed through TurboTax and got my tax refund a while back, but unfortunately I just saw that I didn't file for EITC. Does anyone know what to do? Thanks for the help!

Were you 19 on 12/31/2021? The IRS would also have given you EIC if you qualified.  Are you a depenent?

It goes by your age as of the end of 2021.   If you turned 19 in 2022 you are not eligible for EIC on your 2021 tax return.    The software does calculate EIC if you are eligible and adds it to line 27a of your Form 1040 automatically.   If you could be claimed as someone else's dependent for 2021 then you are not eligible for EIC, or if you were a student you are not eligible.

Turbo Tax would have automatically given you the EIC if you qualified.  Did you check line 27a for it?

No. I did not I'm completely new barely 19, I myself did this "right" and got my refund. My older brother didn't believe me and checked it over for me today. He did say it was weird that TurboTax didn't file EITC for me, even though I completely qualify for it. so my questions still kinda remain. How can I get my EITC refund? maybe I declined my EITC by accident because I was confused as a young person. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for your time!
