Question

I filed yesterday. Today I received a 1098T form in the mail that obviously needs to be on my taxes. What do I do?

It depends.

 

If your return has not been accepted yet, you will have to wait for that to happen.  

 

If your return has been accepted, you will have to file an amended return.  

 

Please note Form 1040X for the amended returns is not scheduled to be released until February 12, 2020.  You will have to wait until this date has passed to amend your return.
