Question

I filedy taxes in early February, but I still have not received my federal return. I went through both of my bank accounts and nothing was deposited?

Filed* I checked both of my bank accounts (checking and savings) and nothing from the federal government has been posted to either account for my allotted return. I don't know what else to do because I was looking forward to that money because I have bills to pay. As does everyone else. I'm just the only one on my family that hasn't received it yet but I was one of the first people to do their taxes. I don't understand what's wrong?

First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control.  TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2021 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

https://www.irs.gov/refunds

To track your state refund:

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.
