Question

I filled my taxes for the first time yesterday and I don't know much about taxes and I'm really scared I did something wrong and I'll have penalties or get audited.

I had family assist me and guide me while filing taxes but this is the first time I'm doing this alone and I have never received such a high amount of money which is why I'm scared. I'm sorry to be annoying but I'm just scared I'll be audited. Is there a way I can get some assistance or guidance how to go about if things go wrong?

We cannot see your tax return.  What income did you enter?  Was it entered from a W-2 that you got from an employer you worked for?  If so, what was in box 1 and box 2?  Or did you enter some other kind of income?  What do you mean by "such a high amount of money?"

Did you already e-file the return?  We cannot access any information about you so we do not know if you are a teenager filing a tax return for your first job, or if you are an older adult who has just not filed a return in a long time.

I entered all the information on my W2 form from the job last year and the new job I started right after that last year as well. (two W2 forms). I meant the amount of federal money I am getting back seems quite high compared to all the previous returns I've ever received. I had some issues showing the 1099 MISC since I had to pay more I was confused. I am 24 and this is my third job but I always received help from my older brother on what to write where. I'm just scared I made a small mistake and I'll get summoned or penalized for it. It also may be because of the deductions, where two graphs showed up and it said I qualified. Is that why the return may be so high? If so, would I have to give that back or do anything to pay it back?
