Your pending return can not be changed. If your return is accepted you will get an email. If the return is rejected the e-mail will tell you what to correct and you can make changes before e-filing again. Amend to change an accepted return after you get your refund. Instructions below

If you failed to enter the 1095-A form the return will be rejected ... make the changes and resubmit the return.   If you are referring to a 1095-B or 1095-C  then everything is fine as those are not entered on the return at all.

Accepted, rejected, and pending changes the answer. Returns that are pending must wait to be accepted or rejected. The IRS will begin accepting returns Jan 29, 2024. Once your return is rejected, you will be able to correct your return and add the missing 1095-A form along with the form 8962 that it generates. Finally, you can submit a correct return for processing.

The IRS should reject a return missing Form 1095-A. If your return was mistakenly accepted, you will need to amend your return after the finances of filing are settled. To amend your return, see the article here.
