I forgot to file my 2018 taxes. I just put all my credit card info in to pay but I can’t see where the return was actually filed

A 2018 return cannot be e-filed. E-filing closed permanently for 2018 returns on October 15, 2019. The only way to file a 2018 return is to print it, sign it and mail it.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
