Question

I forgot to file my SSA-1099 today and can't amend it until 2/15. Am I in trouble?

Breathe.    You say you just e-filed today?   If the return is rejected, you can add the SSA1099 and re-file.   If the e-file is accepted, the IRS might catch your mistake and correct it for you.   If they do not catch it,  then after your return is fully processed, you file an amended return and include the SSA1099.

Sit tight and wait until you see what the IRS does with the return you just e-filed.  You will get an email that tells you if the return was accepted or rejected.
