I forgot to include my 1099-int and am in the process of amending, but the closest option is 1099-misc. can i put the info there?

No, there is a data entry for 1099-INT, 1099-misc is a completely different form having completely different tax treatment...please see below steps:

  1. Federal Taxes
  2. Wages & Income
  3. Interest & Dividends, select Interest on 1099-INT
