Solved

I forgot to print the forms at the end of the efile process. It said I'd need to mail them separately.

How do I access them? I don't know where to find them.  I have looked all over the app and the web site and have found nothing.

If you e-filed the tax return there is nothing that you need to print and mail to the IRS or to the State.

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents.  Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

Or -

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.

This will take you back to the 2023 online tax return.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen.  Then click on Print Center.  Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return.  Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets

Did you file Schedule D with a summary of non-covered transactions or wash sales?

If so, TurboTax will tell you to mail the details.

IRS requires details of your SELL transactions to be supplied on some Form 8949 ,
or on your other forms (e.g. consolidated 1099-B or spreadsheet) which have the same information and in the same manner as Form 8949.
----

Either way, if you choose to summarize some or all transactions, other than those summarized on Schedule D Line 1a or Line 8a, you have to a) include the details with your mailed tax return,
or b) mail the transaction details to the IRS within three business days of IRS accepting your e-Filed tax return.

--

If your form 8949 shows "M" in the code column, that is a summarized 8949.

The summarized form 8949 goes with your e-File (don't mail it again) ,the details are supplied by you separately.

@fanfare I see none of that in my return so I guess not.
