You requested a transcript of your tax return from the IRS.  Why did you need the transcript?

I have no clue i just know I got 2 different letters from the irs, I do know I should have been head of household instead of being single, but it looks like on one if the letters the irs has changed one of my credits or something  I can't get ahold of anyone due to the Covid Shoukf I file for an amended return? I'm new to filing my own taxes

If you received a letter from the IRS it should explain specifically why you are receiving the letter and there would be a phone number on the letter to call if you had questions.

The letter will have a number located in the upper right preceded by either a CP or LTR.  What is the number?
