I had already filed my federal and state tax returns for 2019. Can I still file an amended state tax return before April 15?

Federal tax return and state tax return was filed and accepted. However, I found out I need to make an amendment to the state tax return only.

Can I file the amended state tax return before April 15?

Or should I wait after April 15?
